A teen girl is selected from a nationwide search to join the cast of a sketch-comedy series.

SONNY has won a nationwide talent search to star in So Random! a popular television series. She moves from Wisconsin with her mom, Connie, and prepares for a new chapter in her life. Sonny With A Chance follows her work and home life and how she adjusts to her new life. She makes friends quickly with her fellow cast mates NICO, GRADY, and ZORA, while the show’s “star” TAWNI makes forging a friendship more difficult than Sonny was prepared for. Sonny must also contend with the cast’s ongoing feud with the snooty cast of teen drama Mackenzie Falls and the good-looking star of the show, CHAD DYLAN COOPER.
